Bright ParenTips is designed to provide short parenting guidance while keeping your use of the app private. The Service Provider does not collect, upload, sell, or retain personal data through normal use of the app.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Bright ParenTips mobile application and any related services operated by Mateusz Smola (the “Service Provider”). The app offers parenting tips, favorites, reading history, age-stage filtering, and preference settings.
The app does not collect, log, or store personal information through normal use. Registration is not required, and the Service Provider does not create user profiles, advertising identifiers, or cloud accounts for app users.
If Bright ParenTips stores your selected age stage, favorites, reading history, or settings for app functionality, that information remains in the app’s local storage on your device and is not collected by the Service Provider.
When the app is used with an active internet connection, ordinary technical protocol data such as a temporary IP address may pass through network infrastructure to establish connectivity. The Service Provider does not retain that data for tracking or profiling.
Because the app does not collect personal information through normal use, the Service Provider does not sell, rent, or share app-user personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Bright ParenTips does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device for tracking, advertising, or profiling.
If you enable reminders, notification permission may be used so your device can show parenting-tip reminders. This permission is not used by the Service Provider to create a behavioral or advertising profile about you.
The Service Provider does not retain personal data from Bright ParenTips on external servers because the app does not collect or upload that personal data through normal use. There is therefore no server-side personal-data retention period for ordinary app activity. Any locally stored preferences, favorites, or history remain on your device under your control.
Since the Service Provider does not keep your Bright ParenTips personal data on external servers, there is normally no remote user record to delete. You can remove local app history or preferences using available in-app controls such as clear-history features, or by uninstalling the app and removing its local storage. If you separately email the Service Provider and voluntarily provide personal information, you may request deletion of that correspondence.
Bright ParenTips is intended as a tool for parents and caregivers. The app is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children through normal app use.
Not collecting personal data on external servers substantially reduces privacy exposure. No device or software environment is completely risk-free, so users should protect their device with appropriate security measures.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app changes. Material updates will be reflected by publishing a revised policy with a new effective date.
